Hygienist

Michelle is our lovely hygienist. She grew up in Canberra before moving to the Central Coast to study Oral Health. She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2010 and has been with Modern Dentistry since returning home. As a hygienist Michelle is focused on the preventive side of dentistry. She is a firm believer in taking the time to talk and listen to patients to find the best oral hygiene methods for them. Michelle believes it is important for the patient to know their own mouth, what they are at risk of, and the signs to look out for. She likes spending time educating and working with her patients to help them avoid more invasive procedures.

Michelle loves all aspect of hygiene from the satisfaction one patient gets from that lovely clean feeling after a routine scale, to helping patients overcome and understand gum disease. Michelle’s patients often compliment her on being gentle and thorough; two attributes Michelle holds in high importance in her patient care. Michelle won ACT hygienist of the year award 2016.
